Children and Dogs...

It is our job as dog owners to advocate for our dogs.  They are always speaking to us, and it's our job to listen.  Sometimes they speak subtly, with a nervous tail wag, and sometimes they speak loudly with a growl or a bite.  

We are very active in pet therapy, and most of our pet therapy visits involve children.  While Goldens make wonderful family pets and pet therapy dogs, they are still dogs.  It is our duty and obligation to not only protect our dogs, but anyone that is interacting with our dogs.
